Residencies

We welcome you to consider retreats and residencies at OMR.

Residents have full use of the house including the great room and the studio, two fairly independent halves of the house each with a bedroom, kitchen, and bath; as well as access to the full grounds and decks (one includes a sauna). You can see most of these spaces in the photo gallery below.

Artists host occasional workshops in the communal space, which residents are welcome to join should they wish. The spark of community across creative disciplines and transformation work is part of what makes OMR magical.

Reciprocity

In this iteration of this postcapitalist experiment, we suggest a nominal daily donation to help with hard costs such as property taxes and insurance, well maintenance, etc. In addition, we invite you to receive the space and reciprocate in ways that feel meaningful for you, and that reflect the value of your time at OMR.

Visiting

We are located in North Bend, WA, 40 minutes outside of Seattle in the Cascade foothills. Day and weekend trips are easily done; it’s also within an hour of Seatac airport. Please feel free to get in touch!
